WHAT IS THE BELLABACI TECHNIQUE?

The Bellabaci technique is a modern, simplified version of traditional cupping therapy, which has roots in ancient Chinese, Egyptian, and Middle Eastern cultures. This technique combines the benefits of traditional cupping with a more contemporary approach, making it accessible and easy to use for both professional therapists and individuals at home.

The sequence of movements follows various techniques some of which can be accented depending on personal requirements.

Bellabaci is also a negative pressure technique with a combination of touch therapy and cupping sequences.

How the Bellabaci Technique Works

Cups: The Bellabaci method uses soft, silicone cups instead of the traditional glass or plastic ones that require fire or pumps to create suction. The silicone cups can be squeezed to create a vacuum when placed on the skin.

Suction: The suction effect lifts the skin and underlying tissues, promoting increased blood flow and lymphatic drainage. This action is said to help detoxify the body, reduce muscle tension, and improve circulation.

Massage: Unlike traditional stationary cupping, Bellabaci involves moving the cups over the skin to perform a massage. This movement can be done using various techniques, such as circular or linear motions, depending on the desired effect.
